Services provided to architects by Satu Bumi
As a manufacturer, Satu Bumi recognizes the mutual benefit of working collaboratively with architects in the early design stages of the development of commercial projects that required GRC planters and/or GRC street furniture. In essence, early recognition of practical design issues with planters and street furniture can facilitate more accurate preliminary cost estimates, more functional tendering documentation, and assist in making the sourcing and procurement of these items more controllable for everybody involved. Therefore, Satu Bumi is prepared to engage with architects in the design stage of new projects, at no charge, to assist on any issues that may relate to the inclusion of GRC planters and/or GRC street furniture. This may include recommendations on design considerations, preliminary design drawings for custom designs, preliminary pricing, or recommendations on practical ways to minimize cost.
Satu Bumi recognises that it will not win the supply of all the projects for which it has provided design phase assistance. However, Satu Bumi also believes it will gain enough efficiency benefits in the estimating and tender stages and in the product engineering and manufacturing processes during the construction stages for the projects that it does win to make providing the assistance commercially viable.

PDF & DWG shop drawings of catalogue products for use in architectural drawings
Preliminary custom design and manufacturing consulting assistance
Conceptual shop drawings for custom GRC product designs
Preliminary cost estimates for the manufacture of custom GRC products
