Project Background

Developed by MODA, 835 High Street Armadale features twenty-six spacious apartments including two spectacular rooftop penthouses.

The project was the result of years of meticulous research and detailing by Carr Design, which is one of Australia’s most recognised and influential design teams.

Constructed by Flux Constructions, a part of the Figurehead Construction Group, The MODA apartments boast home-size proportions and unencumbered, stunning city views.

Wall-to-wall glass invites natural light wherever possible, while built-in joinery displays books or art.

Sophisticated private garden sanctuaries complement the living spaces and are designed to imbue the elements of a traditional backyard, but in a more refined setting.

Satu Bumi’s Involvement

Satu Bumi was engaged directly by Flux Construction to manufacture and supply a range of around fifty large custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) rectangle planters for the five floors of the building, some of which were over a meter high, over two meters long, and weight around 400 kilograms.

This was a highly bespoke landscaping project that showcased Satu Bumi’s ability to manufacture large custom GRC planters specifically designed to suit a quality residential construction project.

All the planters were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with a natural grey concrete smooth finish.

This project highlighted the competence of each of the key participants particularly Carr Architecture, Carr Design and Flux Constructions that provided the installation and project management services for the landscaping elements of the project.

Therefore, Satu Bumi was proud of its involvement in terms of the manufacture and supply of the GRC planters for the project.
