Project Background
Easterly is a boutique collection of 21 luxury residences designed for those seeking a coastal lifestyle with a touch of sophistication. These East-facing two- and three-bedroom residences feature spacious interiors, premium designer finishes and breathtaking ocean views. Easterly offers the perfect balance of comfort and elegance. Each floor is home to just two residences for the utmost serenity.
Easterly was developed by Lavel 33 in collaborated with the internationally acclaimed Turner Architects to bring it to life. Inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, each apartment is thoughtfully designed with full-height windows. This stunning feature floods the interiors with natural light and showcases the exquisite stone finishes, and expansive balconies. Each residence is carefully crafted to capture the stunning vistas, creating a seamless connection with the surroundings.
Satu Bumi’s Involvement
Satu Bumi was engaged by the Hadd Group to manufacture and supply the project's custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) planters for the balconies of the Easterly luxury high rise apartments.
All the fifty-four planters supplied were manufactured to meet the architect's specifications and included an elegant fluted custom textured facia design and a Dulux Lexicon painted finish. The products were manufactured using high commercial-grade GRC with Satu Bumi's CityScape technology, providing a durable, lightweight, and dimensionally accurate result suitable for commercial developments.
The ability to manufacture the planters off-site enabled product deliveries to be carefully coordinated with the project's construction program. Supported by comprehensive shop drawings, detailed installation planning, and staged deliveries over several months, Satu Bumi successfully supplied all products in accordance with the project's construction schedule.
The completed installation demonstrates Satu Bumi's capability to deliver custom designed GRC planter solutions for high-end commercial construction projects, combining design flexibility, manufacturing precision, and reliable project delivery.
The successful delivery of this project was made possible through the close collaboration between the project team, landscape architect, construction contractor, and specialist suppliers, together with careful planning and coordinated project execution throughout every stage of the construction program.
