Project Background

Located on the Pacific Highway within walking distance of St. Leonards station, TAFE NSW St. Leonards neighbours the Royal North Shore hospital and Fox Sports studios.

While also featuring some fantastic views of the Sydney harbour and the Sydney CBD, TAFE NSW St. Leonards is an innovative campus that provides students with cutting edge tools, equipment, and facilities to fully prepare them for real-world job opportunities.

This project included refurbishment, landscaping, and additional external works for the Children's Services Relocation Project at St. Leonards TAFE Block B.

The project was managed by Barbro Constructions which was established in 1998 and has an excellent reputation for delivering education and government construction projects in NSW.

Satu Bumi’s Involvement

Satu Bumi was engaged by GPM Landscaping to manufacture and deliver a range of standard sized GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) egg pot planters, flowerpot planters and GRC bowls for the internal courtyard of this project.

All the planters and bowls were selected from Satu Bumi's standard range catalogue and were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with a natural white concrete finish.

The installation of the planters was completed by GPM Landscaping, a NSW based landscape construction company predominantly servicing child care and education facilities in both NSW and Victoria.
