12-18 Albert Street is a commercial property with seven levels of high quality offices, a ground floor café, and car park facilities in Richmond's thriving office precinct that includes some of Melbourne's most iconic fashion, retail, and technology businesses.
Ready access to local retail and transport amenities and proximity to Melbourne's world class sporting precinct makes this building a very attractive office location.
Satu Bumi’s Involvement
Satu Bumi was engaged by Maben to manufacture and deliver around fifty custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) planters for six levels of this project.
Many of the planters were manufactured with curved edges and interlocking segments which provided an interesting and unique planter design.
All the planters were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with a natural concrete grey finish.
The installation of the planters was managed by Maben Group Pty. Ltd, who provided the construction management services for the project and has a reputation for consistently delivering premium and innovative developments with some of Australia's leading architects and consultants.
The project was the winner of the 2020 Master Builders Excellence in Construction Awards – winning the “Excellence in Construction of Commercial Buildings $15M – 20M Award” which highlighted the competency of Maben and the design capabilities of Bates Smart Architects.
Therefore, Satu Bumi was proud of its involvement in terms of the manufacture and supply of the GRC planters for the project.
