Project Background

380 Lonsdale is a large two-tower prestigious apartment complex comprising of a hundred and eleven floors situated in the heart of the Melbourne business district.

The complex incorporates a variety of residences, a boutique hotel managed by one of the worlds premier luxury hotel operators, and a long list of first class amenities and ground floor retail space.

380 Lonsdale was built by the Brady Group which has developed some of Melbourne’s more impressive high-rise buildings over the past twenty years.

The landscaping elements of the project were contracted to Fytogreen which is acknowledged as an industry innovator in horticultural technologies and one of Australia’s leading landscaping companies.

Satu Bumi’s Involvement

Satu Bumi was engaged by Fytogreen to manufacture and supply a range of custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) tables, benches, and planters for the social spaces on five floors of the building and the GRC planters for a green wall spanning one of the lower faces of the building.

This was a highly bespoke landscaping project designed by Aspect Studios which is an internationally awarded landscape design firm and showcased Satu Bumi’s ability to manufacture unusual GRC landscaping designs to suite quality commercial social and green wall spaces.

All the planters, tables and benches were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with both natural grey and white concrete smooth finishes.
