Project Background

Encore Cremorne is a premium seven storey commercial building with a distinctive design that includes a full glass curtain wall above a heritage listed façade.

The tenants of the building have access to a roof top common space that includes a BBQ area and an impressive garden environment. Built in Cremorne, a pocket of Richmond abutting the Yarra River, two kilometres from the Melbourne city district, Encore Cremorne provides high quality and conveniently located prestigious commercial office space.

Encore Cremorne was designed by Fieldwork Architects and constructed by the Hacer Group which is a well respected construction company that delivers top quality projects to some of Australia's best-known corporations.

Satu Bumi’s Involvement

Satu Bumi was engaged by the Hacer Group to manufacture and deliver a range of custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) planters and GRC seats for the roof-top terrace of the project.

This was a highly bespoke landscaping project designed by well regarded landscape architects Openwork, and showcased Satu Bumi's ability to manufacture unusual GRC landscaping designs to suite quality commercial spaces.

All the planters and seats were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with a natural concrete smooth aggregate finish.

The installation of the planters and seats was completed by Living Landscape, an award-winning landscape construction company with a focus on commercial landscaping projects.
