Project Background

63 Heyington Place is an apartment project consisting of twelve three bedroom luxury apartments, including two penthouses.

Set in the highly prestigious suburb of Toorak and in close proximity to some of Melbourne’s most prestigious schools and shopping amenities, Heyington Place is one of the most sought after addresses in Melbourne.

The project was developed by Sterling Global which is a private development and investment group focused on premium-tier projects.

The project was built by Visioneer, designed by Carr Architecture, and the landscaping was provided by Acre.

The project was designed with consideration to context, form, materiality, and thoughtful landscaping.

In the words of the architect, “These 12 finely crafted apartments push liveability and sophistication.”

Satu Bumi’s Involvement

Satu Bumi was engaged directly by Visioneer to manufacture and supply a range of custom GRC (Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete) planters designed for integration with two separate steel balustrade designs and internally mounted lighting over three separate floors.

This was a highly bespoke landscaping project that showcased Satu Bumi’s ability to manufacture GRC planter designs that blended in with the structure of the building and were strong enough to support the architect’s balustrade design.

All the planters were manufactured with high commercial grade GRC using Satu Bumi's CityScape technology with a natural white concrete smooth finish.

This project highlighted the competence of each of the key participants particularly Carr Architects and Visioneer who controlled the installation and project management services for the landscaping elements of the project.

Therefore, Satu Bumi was proud of its involvement in terms of the manufacture and supply of the GRC planters.
